Long time no swing by and see

Okay so it's been over six months since my last post and a freaking lot has happened. Today is 13 December 2009 and it's the anniversary of the last moonwalk and of the capture of Saddam Hussein and the birthdays of Dick Van Dyke, Aga Khan IV, Morris Day, Jaimie Foxx, and Taylor Swift and the anniversary of the death of Donatello, and Stanley Tookie Williams III.

So in the past six months the following has happened. Some bike I couldn't ride due to jammed gears fell into my possession and were quickly had their seats stolen. My brother Mark was off work for more than a month after he fractured his hand after shaking paws with Galen Weston. There was a multiple shooting on Mother's Day down the block. There have been numerous auto accidents around. My father suffered a stroke in September and I helped him to the hospital. He was out of hospital the Friday before Thanksgiving. I have been driving him or my brother Mark everywhere. Let me repeat that Everywhere. I have stood in line to see Santa Claus. Too long.
I have been to Woodbridge, Caledonia, Malton, Brampton, Vaughn, Markham, York, Port Credit, Mississauga, Scarborough, Pickering, Streetsville, OakVille, Bolton, and way too many times to Fordham Ave. Most of the time I drive there and I sit and wait for my brother or my father to do their thing then on my ways again. When my father says I am learning the family business I seem to reply kicking and screaming. It has to be that way because I was certified on locksmith basics 25 years ago. And 12 years ago when I was in a pinch I helped my father out and here I am back at it again. What's worse was driving my brother around to occupational therapy for his hand versus driving my father to his occupational therapy for his head. Dad finally smartened up and got new glasses. Mind you before he did that he booked appointments for Lasik, and his original eye surgeon, before he went to the family eye doctor. Did I mention multiple waits in line at multiple times for H1N1 flu shot? Takes me half an hour in the morning. Father wanted a lie in so he ends up in the 3 hour afternoon line up. Brother Mark decides he can't wait the first week then doesn't want to stand around the second week and on the third I took him in the evening and we wait till 9pm. Mine is not to reason why mine is to drive around and wait. and wait. and wait then drive around some more and wait. and wait.
Oh let me mention the cat. Now my mother is susposed to be allergic to cats. This Summer we had a cat keep coming to our door. My father would put a saucer of milk out for it and some scraps and my mother eventually did the same. Eventually they would let it into the house where they would give it a firm petting. The cat who would become known as Charlie was all black except for a little bit of white at the very end of it's tail and a thumbnail of white on it's chest. I even took it to the local vet to see if it had a Pet Chip. It didn't. Anyways it turns out the cat was splitting it's time with us and it's owner and another family. The owner bred it to sell and sold it to a family in Barrie after it was with us for 8 weeks. Sorry Charlie. But it was for the best as mum was starting to break out on her chest.
So that's some of what's been keeping me busy.
I will try to do more but have to go now.
